Logan Corbett chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about representing Oklahoma in the 2025 Mister USA competition.
Background on Logan Corbett
Representing the State of Oklahoma at Mister USA 2025 is Logan Corbett—a proud small-town native whose journey reflects the true spirit of resilience, growth, and authenticity. Hailing from a rural Oklahoma community with no stoplights and fewer than a thousand residents, Logan brings more than his agricultural roots and collegiate livestock judging accolades to the national stage—he brings a story of courage and hope.
As a first-generation college student who faced profound personal challenges, Logan found strength through vulnerability, the support of a CrossFit community, and a commitment to both physical and mental well-being.
Today, he thrives in a corporate role connecting others to life-changing opportunities, all while continuing his passion for raising show cattle and uplifting those around him. Logan’s journey is proof that no matter where you come from, it’s never too late to reclaim your story, prioritize your health, and boldly chase your dreams. If a small-town boy can take that leap, so can you!
Competing in the 2025 Mister USA
Mister USA is an American beauty pageant, which is held annually, and the winner goes on to represent the United States in the Mister Universe competition. It is a celebration of culture, diversity, beauty, intelligence and empowerment. They believe in the power of young leaders to make a difference in the world. It is not solely about outer beauty; it recognizes the inner beauty and intelligence of their contestants.
On competing in the 2025 Mister USA pageant, he said, “It feels very unreal right now. The support that I have been getting from my community, family, and friends is humbling and overwhelming right now. It is a starstruck type of atmosphere right now, very unreal, and in the moment.”
Repping Oklahoma
On repping Oklahoma, he said, “I am very proud to be representing Oklahoma. When you think about all 50 states, Oklahoma is not necessarily the state that everybody wants to go to, but Oklahoma has always been home to me.”
“Oklahoma has given me every opportunity I’ve actually had, so to be able to represent the state (that has given the most to me and built me to be who I am) is an honor and a privilege,” he admitted.
Daily motivations
Regarding his daily motivations, he said, “My parents are a really big motivating factor in my life. Throughout my life, they have made sure that all of us kids are taken care of. Even though they didn’t attend college, they always pushed us to make the most of our education and they gave us a strong foundation to lay the success in our adulthood.”
“So, being able to make them proud and the other people around me is a huge motivation. I want to make the people proud that have built me into who I am,” he added.

Future plans
“I am a corporate recruiter, and I enjoy that because I get to connect quality people with some life-changing careers. I raise and sell show cattle on the side. Agriculture has been my bread and butter.”
Advocacy for Mister USA
On his future plans, he shared, “I want to be a representation that it’s not too late. I’m 27, and that’s one thing that people look at… that I am getting up there. Even in my fitness career, I’ve only been focused on that for the last four years, so I hope to inspire other people that it’s not too late to work on their fitness. I hope to help them with their longevity.”
“I want people to know that if I can do it, anybody can,” he noted. “Obviously, I wasn’t born with a golden spoon in my mouth, I’ve never had much of an opportunity in the past, I come from a different background in comparison to other competitors.”
“I am a small town boy with big dreams that has been given and blessed with an opportunity, so again, if I can do it, anyone else can. There is no dream too big or too small for anyone to chase regardless of who they are,” he added.
Stage of his life
On the title of the current chapter of his life, he revealed, “Making the most of who I’ve found.”
“I’ve spent the previous chapter really finding myself, and this year, is making the most of who I’ve found,” he explained.
Superpower of choice
If he were to have any superpower, it would be “to fly.” “Flying would be great because gasoline is expensive and I would like to travel more,” he said.
Success
“Being able to lead and live a life for myself to accomplish some goals that I want to set is what I am focusing on in this next chapter,” he said.
“At the end of the day, I’ve always stuck to my faith and my morals. I’ve made the most of what life has given to offer me, so I believe I would be a great representation for Oklahoma. If you believe in yourself, if you set those goals, then you can reach them as long as you stay dedicated and committed to them. I believe I can be a token of hope for a lot of people who often have self-doubt. At the end of the day, if you just keep pushing forward and have that faith, you are going to succeed.”
“Success means looking in the mirror and being proud of the person you are regardless of the cards you’ve been dealt. If you take each day and you make yourself one percent better, then you are 100 percent better at the end of the day,” he concluded.
