Plans for the future

Regarding his future plans, he shared, “Honestly, just building my aesthetic, having fun online, and continuing to film.” “I’m really proud of the brand that I’ve built and to just keeping it rolling.”

“I have a few things that are in progress, but I cannot talk about them yet,” he foreshadowed.

“I would say that not much has really changed ever since I turned 30. I feel just as active as I did back when I was 20. Perhaps now, I am less judgmental and calmer, so I feel like I get along with everyone,” he elaborated.

Defining moments

On his defining moments, he shared, “Oh so many! I learned a lot along the way… it’s really crazy. I have to stay grounded and grateful because I started off dancing in strip clubs, and now I am in a different place in my life. I feel like I’ve lived a thousand different lives.”

“I am really grateful that I’ve had so many different experiences because it just makes me happy with where I am at now,” he noted.

Advice for young and aspiring influencers and content creators

For young and emerging influencers and content creators, Reno stated, “I guess my advice would be to stay as consistent as possible while being true to yourself, and having a divide between what you portray online and your real life.”

“I think it’s important to keep some things to yourself and have relationships that aren’t dependent on if you’re going to shoot with somebody or if you’re going to create with somebody,” he noted.

“You need to have good people around you, people who care about you, and take care of yourself and your mental health first, so that way, you can provide the best content. This way, people can relate to it,” he added.

Stage of his life

On the title of the current chapter of his life, he revealed, “Reno’s Dirty 30.” “I’m still going at it,” he admitted. “Honestly, when I was younger, I used to always say that I was going to retire when I turned 30, but I’m just not ready yet.”

“I’m still having a lot of fun,” he noted. “I feel really good about myself and I’m just not ready to stop yet. So, I’m having the dirtiest 30.”

“I also feel like I’m in my fashion era. I’ve been experimenting so much and I’ve been going to all the Fashion Weeks. I am just having such a nice time traveling now that I am in my creative era,” he explained.

Reno Gold on Jake Resnicow

A native of Nevada, Reno had great words about acclaimed producer, promoter and mentor Jake Resnicow. “Jake is such a good guy! I just visited him recently in Miami and we had a fun time. He is genuinely the type of friend who will go out of their way for you,” Reno said.

Superpower of choice

If Reno were to have any superpower, it would be to “read people’s minds.” “I think I’m pretty good at that anyway,” he admitted.

Favorite mottos to live by

On his favorite mottos to live by, he underscored, “Work hard, play hard!”

“You could wake up tomorrow, trip, fall, and break something, and you may never be able to work again… so, live every day like it’s your last day,” he said.

Success

Regarding his definition of success, he disclosed, “Success, to me, means how many quality relationships you have, and honestly, just being happy and being creative. Also, having people around you that you love and that love you. That’s a successful person to me.”
