Actress Vanessa von Schwarz spoke with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about her desire to go into producing more.
She was a part of this year’s VertiCon along with Kasey Esser. She has been a part of over 40 verticals.
“As the vertical space has expanded so much, I have seen it grow, especially from the beginning,” she noted. “I’ve been in it since 2023, and I’ve really been able to see what viewers are attracted to, what they stick with, and what their heart connects to in certain stories.”
“I just really see a wave of creators making their own content and shows, and that being the way that they build an audience,” she added.
In regards to the vertical that she is producing, she revealed that it’s going to be a “woman-led production.” “That is exciting,” she admitted.
“We want to elevate the space as much as we can, and do it in a way where it still honors the vertical format and respects the way that it has grown, which is so super exciting. So, look out for those,” she foreshadowed.
For her fans in this space, she remarked, “Their support is amazing and just astounding. This is nothing I could have ever expected, especially to go to my local mall or grocery store and to be recognized is absolutely insane.”
“To have people connect with the stories and the characters that I have been a part of is just so meaningful and mind-blowing,” she noted. “I am just so grateful. I love hearing the fans’ input. I love hearing how the stories affect them.”
