Andrew Blazze is a dancer and performer of the revue “Forbidden Nights,” which is currently touring Canada and the UK. He chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about his latest endeavors.

‘Canada’s Got Talent’

On participating in the reality competition “Canada’s Got Talent,” he said, “It was amazing actually… it was really good! We enjoyed it. That was my first time in Canada, and now we are doing a proper tour in Canada. It is just beautiful; the people are different, and they are just amazing! Canada is such a wonderful country.”

Regarding his daily motivations, he shared, “I’m a very positive person in general. Despite the challenges that life may throw at you, I never give up! I have chosen this life to be a good one. That’s what motivates me to keep going and to stay positive.”

On working with Forrest Jones Entertainment, he said, “Forrest is just an amazing human being. We just clicked. He is caring and just lovely.”

‘Forbidden Nights’

On joining “Forbidden Nights,” he said, “It was a crazy story. I was in London, and I was in the industry and somebody told me that I would be a good fit for ‘Forbidden Nights’ because they were looking for a male dancer. I knew them from YouTube, but I had never met any of them. A few months later, the pandemic hit, and I couldn’t join them.”

“So, after the pandemic, I quit my job, and I just joined them full-time,” he added. “The show ‘Forbidden Nights’ has such huge potential,” he foreshadowed. “We are trying to build our audience in the UK and in Canada. We are doing our best, especially me, I am always putting 110 percent of myself in ‘Forbidden Nights’.”

He is originally from Romania, but noted that he has lived in London for 11 years.

As a performer, Andrew shared that he looks up to fellow Aussie dancer and performer Ceaser Smith of Magic Men Australia. ‘It is amazing that Ceaser is still doing it. Seeing people like Ceaser is very inspiring. Ceaser motivates me to keep going.”

When asked what makes Forbideden Nights unique, he responded, “In other male revues, they are just dancing. We don’t just dance… we perform. We have acrobatics, we have fire (I do a fire act), and some of the boys are singers. In our show, you are not only going to see some guys taking their tops off.”

“Our show is a bit different because we are doing circus acts, and we are interacting with the audience. It is all about the sneak peaks… it is more about teasing the fans. We don’t show everything… we just tease,” he said.

Stage of his life

On the title of the current chapter of his life, Andrew said, “Renaissance.”

Success

Regarding his definition of the word success, he said, “Success means being able to have money but not to show off; I just want the money to disappear. Not to show off, I just want money to disappear. I want to take my family and friends to enjoy things. I want to hit that level with the boys of Forbidden Nights.”

Message for the fans

For the fans, he concluded, “Come and see us. You will be mesmerized. You are going to be entertained, and you are going to have such a good time. I guarantee that the audience will be entertained, and they will have so much fun at our show.”
