    “The Education Select Committee suggest schools could be breaking the law by promoting politically controversial terminology.”

    “Now former deputy Prime Minister Damian Green joins us, we want to talk to you about reforms to social care but first of all your reaction to this report, I think we’d say a pretty damning report, wouldn’t you?” Gallacher asked. 

    “Yes I think it’s a very important report and Robert Halfon is a very good chair of the Education Select Committee and he and the committee have put their fingers on a genuine long-running problem which is that one of the groups that do least well at school over decades,” Green replied. 

    “This isn’t a new phenomenon, have been white working-class boys and actually investigate why this happens and fixing it. This is one of the big challenges to our school system.”
