Australian performer and dancer Beau Privato chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about the upcoming “Magic Men Australia” Tour in Canada.

Margaret Mead once said: “Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” This quote applies to Beau Privato.

Motivations

On his daily motivations, he said, “Being disciplined is a big one for me because motivation comes and goes for me. It comes to me several times a week so I have to keep those discipline traits in mind. Once I get the result, that’s what keeps me motivated. My family and my mother also inspire me.”

“Achieving my dreams is always keeping me motivated as well. I’ve always been a big dreamer,” he acknowledged.

‘Magic Men Australia’ family

Privato had great words about all the Magic Men Australia performers that he works with, which include Will Parfitt, Ceaser Smith, Sean Wepener, Jeff Conelius, Carlo Powell, Nic Murray, and Jaxon Human. “Honestly, it’s fantastic. They are such a great crew, and they are all incredible guys,” he said.

Canadian tour

“I’ve been with Magic Men Australia since 2020, and to be going on this Canadian tour with them is really cool. I love our big boss, Carlos, as well, he is an awesome guy to work for, and I feel very blessed. Magic Men Australia is an amazing show to be a part of, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.”

“We honestly can’t wait to see the fans in Canada. Definitely don’t miss out, this is our first international tour and we really want to do our best. We do this for the right reasons, we do this because we love it. We are all hungry and ready to go. It’s a show, and at the end of the day, we are entertainers ready to entertain you and make you laugh. We like to appeal to everyone… we are all different, we all have different looks, and different personalities,” he added.

Advice for hopefuls

For young and aspiring dancers and performers, he said, “My biggest advice is do it for the right reasons. I got into it by accident. Initially, I had a lot of social anxiety but it all sort of happened.”

“What really drew me in was my love for performing, being on stage, and I fell in love with the craft. That’s the big thing,” he added.

Career-defining moments

On his career-defining moments, Privato recalled, “Even going on stage for the first time was defining. The first kick of adrenaline was a big one for me back then. I had social anxiety and no confidence but that hit of adrenaline was like something I had never experienced before. It’s a drug that just can’t be described. It’s the most addicting thing I have ever experienced.”

Regarding the title of the current chapter of his life, Privato said, “Coming of Age.” “I am still learning a bit, and I am ready for my big break to come,” he explained.

If he were to do any track and field event, he would run “the 100 meter or the 200 meter sprints.” “I was very fast as I child, nobody could ever beat me,” he said. “My favorite stroke is swimming is the breaststroke, I’ve always liked it.”

Success

On his definition of the word success, Privato shared, “Financial freedom. I’m not super materialistic, but the main reason I want money is to free. I love having time and using my time wisely, and into things that benefit myself and the people around me. Success is living comfortably doing what I love. Having a family, and people you love and care about. Being a high-value human.”

“Peace of mind and being able to have experiences,” he added.
