In this refreshing new vertical, Grace (Cailin Peluso) is trying to get into Harvard University but it seems like an unrealistic dream because her mother’s life savings need to go into paying off debts. She has to face off against Chris Sterling (played by Blake Manning).
Cailin Peluso is lovely as Grace, where she steals every scene she is in. She has great chemistry with the suave Blake Manning, and it is evident that he grows and thrives as an actor with every project he undertakes.
They both play characters that the audience will want to root for from the opening episode, and they should both become the next big stars in the vertical genre.
Without giving too much away, this is an engaging new vertical for Daily Shorts that is worth more than just a passing glance. There is something in it for everyone, and it is not overdone. Blake Manning and Cailin Peluso deliver memorable acting performances all around. “My Quest for Harvard” garners 4.5 out of 5 stars. Well done.
