Young actor Cary Christopher has a major reason to be proud! He just scored a 2026 Critics Choice Award nomination for his acting performance in the horror film “Weapons.” #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

Cary Christopher is up for “Best Young Actor/Actress” for playing Alex Lilly in “Weapons,” where he is nominated along side Everett Blunck (“The Plague”), Miles Caton (“Sinners”), Shannon Mahina Gorman (“Rental Family”), Jacobi Jupe (“Hamnet”), and Nina Ye (“Left-Handed Girl”).

In a post on social media, Christopher exclaimed, “So thrilled to be nominated for a Critics Choice Award for my performance in Weapons!! What an exciting Friday!!!”

Congratulations to Cary Christopher for this well-deserved Critics Choice Award nod… This marks his second ever major award nomination.

Two years ago, Christopher was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for “Outstanding Younger Performer in a Daytime Drama Series” for his acting work in the daytime drama “Days of Our Lives,” which streams on Peacock.

When he earned his Daytime Emmy nomination at the age of eight, Christopher made history as one of the youngest Emmy nominees in history.

It is only a matter of time before Cary Christopher starts earning Golden Globe, Primetime Emmy, and even Oscar nominations.
