Charlotte Kirk to star in new psychological thriller “The Spiral Down.” #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.
PRIMAL EMPIRE STUDIOS psychological thriller, THE SPIRAL DOWN from a story by Neil Marshall (THE DESCENT) has started principal photography in Kentucky starring Charlotte Kirk (Duchess), Costas Mandylor (SAW), Michael Pare (STREETS OF FIRE), Alessandra Williams (SPENSER CONFIDENTIAL), Mike Ferguson (Night Patrol), Adam Tsekhman (LEGENDS OF TOMORROW), Matthew Fahey (ANIMAL KINGDOM) Darren Weiss (TIN SOLDIER), Anna Clols (CATnip), Jane Konsol (ZAFAFIAN) and Courtney Warner (DARK RECKONING) joining the cast.
Charlotte Kirk (DUCHESS), Karlos Ways (CHRISTMAS & CHAOS) and Alessandra Williams (SPENSER CONFIDENTIAL) are the producers and Aaron Mirtes (WHISKEY RUN) is helming the feature.
In The Spiral Down with what begins as routine abduction case, quickly unravels into a dangerous game between predators. A serial killer obsessed with perfection kidnaps (Charlotte Kirk) Mary Doyle, but as detectives close in, they discover that Mary is far from a victim. She is a dangerous escapee from a psychiatric institution with a violent past of her own.
After killing her captor and disappearing without a trace, the investigation is turned on its head, leaving law enforcement hunting an even greater threat.
Kirk can next be seen starring in the horror film, The Possession of Gladstone Manor opposite Caylee Cowan, Jesse Metcalfe and Lin Shaye and the horror comedy, Catnip with Jake Busey and the horror thriller, The Last Bride.
She also has the actioner, Myra opposite Gary Daniels slated for release as well as the romantic comedy, Christmas and Chaos starring Jason Isaacs and the suspense thriller, Night Driver starring Josh Lucas and romance, Don’t Forget Me Tomorrow with Britton Webb and Alessandra Williams.
In addition, Kirk previously starred in Neil Marshall’s, The Reckoning, The Lair, Duchess and most recently Compulsion.
