Actors Jesse Metcalfe, Brendan Penny, Brant Daugherty, and Brandon Routh chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos at Christmas Con in New Jersey.
Jesse Metcalfe
On being a part of Christmas Con, Metcalfe exclaimed, “It’s great to be at Christmas Con. We get treated really well here by That’s 4 Entertainment team. It’s always great to connect with the fans. This is my fourth or fifth Christmas Con, and I have a blast each time.”
Brendan Penny
On being at Christmas Con, Penny said, “It’s fantastic to be here! It’s my first time doing Christmas Con, and it is exceeding all of my expectations. People are wonderful and I love this venue. There are just a ton of people, so it is pretty exciting.”
Penny’s favorite holiday traditions include opening “presents from under the tree.” “Presents baby,” he exclaimed. “I want to see what I got!”
Brant Daugherty
On being a part of Christmas Con, Daugherty said, “It is lovely! It is always a privilege to be here! It is nice to connect with people and see how our movies land and matter, and if they are resonating with people. Also, it is nice to celebrate Christmas.”
Regarding his favorite holiday traditions, he shared, “We are coming up with new traditions all the time. We just moved, we have a new apartment, we are in a new country, and we are trying to figure it out.”

Brandon Routh
On being at Christmas Con, Routh said, “It’s great to be here at Christmas Con! I missed last year to make ‘A Keller Family Christmas’ but I am happy to be here this year.”
Regarding his favorite holiday traditions, Routh said, “My mom makes something called a tea ring, which is a different kind of a cinnamon roll, so enjoying that is one of the great things.”
