Commissioner Selwyn Patterson (Don Warrington) recruited Darlene and the pair recently worked together on their own mission.
While the pair helped a wedding planner get his table decorations back on track, they gained some bonding time.
When Darlene questioned why the Commissioner decided to come with her, he replied: “This is a new role for you, I’m keen to help out in any way I can.”
Darlene also asked Selwyn why he was keen to see her succeed in her new role.
