Elvis Presley cousin ‘feels his presence every day’ as shares ‘almost real’ DREAM of King

died on August 16, 1977 at the age of 42. The King left behind a devoted inner circle of family who lived with him at Graceland. Among them was his cousin Billy Smith, a member of the Memphis Mafia.

He added: “There are those times when you just get that weird feeling that’ll make you think.

“Or if I’m listening to music sometimes…and feel it like he’s there.”

Elvis Presley died of a heart attack on the toilet, upstairs at Graceland.

Two days later the King’s funeral took place as thousands of fans lined up along Elvis Presley Boulevard to pay their respects.

Elvis was later buried next to his parents in the Meditation Garden of Graceland.

There, fans still come today to pay their respects at his grave, which comes right at the end of the mansion tour.

The King left Graceland to his daughter Lisa Marie and it was opened to the public in 1982.

She still regularly visits and treats the house like home, even staying overnight upstairs sometimes.
