lived at his Memphis, Tennessee mansion for two decades before his untimely death. And five years later in 1982, Graceland opened to the public for the first time. Having been closed for two months during the on-going pandemic, The King’s home is now offering an exciting competition for fans who are US residents.

The grand prize is two tickets for the Ultimate VIP Graceland tour, which usually costs $184 each.

The four-hour tour includes an expert guide of the Graceland Mansion tour, self-guided tour of Elvis’ custom jets and full access to the Memphis Entertainment Complex.

Additionally, there is access to the Ultimate private lounge, an exclusive VIP exhibit, a meal voucher and more.

Alongside the VIP tour, the winner gets a two night stay for two at the guest house at the Graceland hotel.

And if you thought that wasn’t enough, also a $100 Graceland gift card, while second prize wins two Elvis Entourage VIP Graceland tours.

US fans can enter through the official Graceland website by filling out an online entry form here.

The winners will be drawn at random on or about October 2, 2020.

Back in May, Graceland revealed how The King would react to re-opening his home after two months of closure.

On Graceland’s temporary closure, the archivist said: “Nobody knew what was gonna happen.

“Nobody knew how the country was going to reopen.

“There was that anticipation of at any moment now they could say, ‘You can bring people back’.

During the two month closure, the front of the Graceland mansion was floodlit in red, white and blue.

The colours, representing the American flag, reflected Elvis’ patriotism and Graceland’s solidarity with Memphis and the rest of the US during the pandemic.

The King left Graceland to his daughter Lisa Marie, who still treats the house like a home when she visits.

After the White House, the Memphis mansion is the most visited home in the US.

While in 1991, Graceland was listed in the National Register of Historic Places on November 7 that year, making it the first site related to rock and roll to be recognised on it.
