Gabriel “Gabe” Thaxton chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about being a part of “Finding Mr. Christmas” Season 2 on Hallmark.
He is one of the 10 contestants competing this season for a chance to get a leading man role in a Hallmark holiday movie.
Gabe is a model who hails from Laramie, Wyoming. “Finding Mr. Christmas” is hosted by Jonathan Bennett, who also serves as a judge alongside Melissa Peterman.
On the “Finding Mr. Christmas” experience, Gabe said, “Me and Davey (Fisher) walked into the house together, and I remember Jonathan coming up to us before we walked in.” “It was just like such a bright light instantly,” Gabe admitted.
“I was like, ‘wow, this is making me feel so much better about going on national television right now’,” Gabe said.
Lessons learned from this show
“I would say it taught me how to just be myself, honestly,” Gabe said. “A huge part of the show is just showing the world who you are and bringing that to a scene or to a challenge. I felt like the main thing that I learned was just that I’m enough… and that if I’m just myself, that’s going to be good.”
“I would say that the biggest asset that anybody has is who they are as a person. That is unique to every individual so nobody else can bring what you can bring,” Gabe concluded.’
A fun fact about Gabe is that he can solve a Rubik’s Cube in 40 seconds!
