NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Hollywood music publicist, Trevor Perkins announced this week that he has moved on from public relations, and now concentrating on artist development with his new company Sincerely Music Group. The company is partnered with Perkins’ marketing arm, Perkins Publicity, which will continue to distribute news and marketing for music artists throughout the entertainment industry.
Perkins, 19, has no intention of quitting public relations, but sees an opportunity to play a bigger role in an artist’s career with the developmental side of an artist’s career.
“I’m so excited to unfold the next chapter of my industry career,” Perkins told True Hollywood Talk. “After several months of working with artists and seeing the potential of helping artists develop their career. I saw a need to help artists unfold their careers. I’m excited to have a select platform that showcases the talent that I believe truly will be taking over the industry within the next few years (or sooner).”
With the launch of the new company, Sincerely Music Group brings on rising country artist Becca Bowen, who joins the company’s current roster including, but not limited to Brady Lee and Sierra Annie.
Bowen, an avid outdoor enthusiast, recently released her newest single “Gunshots or Fireworks” after just winning the latest season of The Outdoor & Sportsman Channel’s all-female hunting series For Love or Likes. Her new single was produced by Sal Oliveri, adding to Bowen’s catalog of previous releases, including “Love It, Leave It,” “Home,” and “Just Be You.”
Lee, who just released his sophomore single “Liquorish” was recently named under Artists to Watch by Everything Nash, PopWrapped, and Country Sway. The single follows his career-changing debut single “I Can Do This All Day”, which debuted on Apple’s Best New Country and New In Country’s editorial playlist.
Showcasing her now-signature country pop-punk sound, Annie released her recent single “Cinematic” which featured Joey Flemming, debuting on Apple Country’s Best New Songs and New In Country editorial.
Sincerely Music Group has already began building its music catalog with exclusive distribution partnered with ONErpm. The current music catalog includes Bowen’s latest single, along with Lyssa Coulter’s “I Don’t Wanna Know” and Stephanie Ryann‘s “Broken Heart.”
Artist development, according to Perkins, is needed now more than ever due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “It’s super important to help artists develop their craft, debuting their brand and image in a professional matter from the start.”
Perkins Publicity’s current talent roster includes Lauren Davidson, Gracie Carol, Devon Beck, variety talk show The Libby O Show, and many additional artists across the genres including country, hip-hop, and pop.
