The panel burst into laughter about the incident, before Sally opened up on the chat she had with Princess Anne about being on Coronation Street for the past 36 years.
Sally told the panel: “Princess Anne gave it to me and said, ‘What’s it like being on Coronation Street for as long as you have?’
“I said I have enjoyed every moment and she said I that was a great attitude to have.”
Sally added: “I also talked about my charity which is Prevent Breast Cancer and she was lovely about that too.”
