In the past, Dick openly admitted in the early stages of their relationship, he was worried about the age gap and thought it would be impossible for either of them to get past.
“We fell in love very quickly and had a wonderful time,” he admitted. “But then I told Angela it was time for her to find a young man [and] have children because I felt I shouldn’t keep her from that.”
However, Angel, who is a strong-willed and stubborn woman, wasn’t having any of it and had her mind and her heart set on being with Dick.
Speaking about their age gap, she said: “Age is but a number, Dick has always had a wonderful energy and is so passionate about everything he does, I love that about him.”
