Influencer, fitness professional and entrepreneur Marc Andrew chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about his recent Super Bowl commercial and future projects.
Vince Lombardi once said: “Perfection is not attainable, but if we chase perfection we can catch excellence.” A person who strives for excellence is Marc Andrew.
Congrats on your Super Bowl commercial… How did that feel?
The Super Bowl commercial was truly a dream come true. It was one of those moments where everything slows down and you realize, “Wow, this is real.” Up until that point, most of my work had been centered around social media and digital content — which I love — but this was my first real experience stepping into true advertising, character work, and acting on that level.
It also opened my eyes to how important it is to build strong relationships with casting agents and pursue opportunities beyond what you’re used to. Being alongside Madison Beer was an absolute honor. She’s incredibly talented and professional, and just being part of that production raised my standards for myself moving forward.
What projects are you working on now?
Right now, I’m preparing for a major casting project that will have me traveling internationally over the next few months. I’ve been cast as a supporting character in an action thriller filming in Paris, France. I’ll be working alongside Megan Fox and Gerard Butler, which is honestly surreal to say out loud.
This opportunity represents a huge step forward for me — not just professionally, but personally. To go from primarily working in hospitality and social media to being part of a feature film is something I once thought I’d only experience from the audience. Now I get to be part of creating it.
How is casting going?
Casting has been going really well, and I’m incredibly grateful. A big turning point for me was my coworker, Ian Oleksiak, who handles video content for our hospitality company. He really encouraged me to take action and pursue casting more seriously.
Because of that push, I met with a casting agent this past winter, and since then things have been very active. I’ve been receiving consistent casting calls and confirmations, which has been both exciting and motivating. It has shown me how important it is to surround yourself with people who push you to grow.
What do your plans for the future include?
My long-term goal is balance. I genuinely love hospitality — it’s fast-paced, people-focused, and it’s been such a big part of my growth. At the same time, I’m really enjoying the development process in acting and advertising.
I don’t see it as choosing one or the other. I see it as expanding. I want to build a career where I can creatively express myself while also staying grounded in the industries that shaped me. Balance, growth, and continued discipline are my focus.
How is Loretta’s Last Call going?
Loretta’s Last Call has been absolutely amazing. I’ve always loved the country vibe, and it’s given me the opportunity to tap into the country roots I developed growing up in Arizona. There’s something authentic and energetic about that environment that I connect with.
We have a lot of exciting things in the works, especially with Red Sox season right around the corner. It’s always a busy and electric time of year, and I’m looking forward to what’s ahead.
Any new plans with the restaurant?
Right now, my main focus is executing the incredible opportunity my casting agent, Michael Turner, has helped bring to life. While there are always ideas and growth happening within the restaurant, my attention is on giving this film role everything I have.
This opportunity means a lot to me, especially considering I came into it with no formal acting background. Being able to step into a supporting role alongside actors I grew up watching and admiring is incredibly humbling and motivating.
What would you like to say to your fans and supporters?
First and foremost, thank you. Whether it’s my coworkers, my family, my friends, or the people who support me on social media — none of this happens in isolation.
The encouragement, belief, and motivation I receive from the people around me fuels me daily. I also pride myself on the discipline and work ethic I bring personally, but having a strong support system makes all the difference. I’m beyond grateful.
Is there anything else you would like to add (what we did not cover)?
Pursuing advertising and acting while continuing to love what I do at Loretta’s Last Call is a new chapter for me — and an exciting one. I’m stepping into something unfamiliar, and that’s where growth happens.
I want to give a special shout-out to Michael Turner for believing in me and helping secure this role in an action thriller starring Megan Fox and Gerard Butler. Opportunities like this don’t happen without people who advocate for you.
I’m excited for what’s ahead and committed to giving everything I do my full effort.
