A: A love for cooking is in our Georgian genes, to us, it’s an art form! When we found out there was no Georgian restaurant in Astoria, we knew we had to open one right here.
Q: How would you describe the essence of Georgian cuisine to someone who’s never tried it before?
A: Anyone looking to discover new flavors that have stood the test of time absolutely must try Georgian cuisine!
Q: What does the name Mrs. Georgia represent for you?
A: For us Georgians, a Georgian woman, especially a mother: is a symbol of care and culinary mastery. That’s why we named it Mrs. Georgia.

Q: The menu has a beautiful mix of cold appetizers, hearty khinkali, bakery items, hot dishes, BBQ, and traditional soups: how did you curate this selection?
A: Georgian cuisine is incredibly diverse, making it hard to pick just one standout dish. So, we leave the choice to our customers.
Q: Which dishes do you feel truly represent the heart of Georgian home cooking?
A: Khachapuri, Mtsvadi, Khinkali, and Elarji.
Q: For guests new to Georgian food, which three dishes should they absolutely try first?
A: Khachapuri, Khinkali, and Chakapuli.
Q: Are there any ingredients or cooking techniques that are unique to Georgia and hard to find elsewhere?
A: Every region of Georgia has its own unique cooking techniques and spices. These ingredients can only be found in Georgia. And most importantly, every dish is made with love.
Q: The khachapuri has multiple versions on the menu, can you share what makes each one special?
A: Khachapuri is mainly made in western Georgia, but every region has its own unique recipe. Each one is incredibly delicious. We let our customers decide, and it will be exciting to see which region’s khachapuri gets the most votes!

A: Nearly 90% of our dishes are made using family recipes and personal touches that give each meal its own unique flavor.

A: As is well known, there are many Georgian restaurants in New York, and they are very well received. Our company’s niche, style, and desire is that every dish is made with love, a process that brings us great joy.
