In this vertical series, Willa’s (Nikki Leigh) husband Ethan (Travis DesLaurier) fakes his own death, thus making her believe she has been widowed. Ethan secretly assumes the identity of his twin brother, Owen, and fathers a child with his sister-in-law, Claire (Dorothy Mannine).
Nikki Leigh is delightful as Willa, the heroine who goes through so much, while Travis DesLaurier is appealing as Ethan, who is navigating guilt after his actions had consequences for all involved. Dorothy Mannine is convincing as the villainess Claire, and Adam Santa Cruz is impressive as Daniel.
Conclusion
The story in itself is crazy and intense, but engaging and entertaining. One can always count on Nikki Leigh to helm a riveting vertical drama… she gets better with each and every project.
Each member of the cast brings something unique and refreshing to the series, and they are all gifted in their own right. It is worth checking out, and it garners two thumbs up. Well done.
