Last week, Piers Morgan quit his role as co-host on Good Morning Britain after clashing with co-star Alex Beresford over his comments regarding Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey. Ever since questions have been raised as to whether his other ITV programmes would go ahead. It has now been confirmed that the last in the series of Piers Morgan’s Life Stories will air on Thursday.

Piers Morgan’s Life Stories is now in its 19th series. In the latest episodes, Piers has sat down with the likes of Gemma Collins, Chis Eubank and Trisha Goddard.

In scenes due to air on Thursday, the host will be joined by Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan as she opens up about her life in the limelight.

The TV presenter details the heartbreak her family has faced after seeing three of her sisters battling cancer – including Bernie, who passed away in 2013.

She is also set to talk about her two marriages and how she’s now dating in her mid-50s as she reflects on the violence she and her sisters experienced at the hands of their alcoholic father.

Coleen also reveals how Jimmy Savile invited her to his hotel room when she was 14-years-old.

As well as his show Life Stories, Piers will have his other programmes airing ITV.

Over the years, the presenter has fronted many investigative documentaries, such as; Killer Women with Piers Morgan, Confessions of a Serial Killer with Piers Morgan and Psychopath with Piers Morgan.

He also managed to secure an exclusive sit down chat with the one and only Cristiano Ronaldo for ITV too.

I wouldn’t want to transfer what he was doing on GMB straight to GB News,” Andrew continued.

“I’d want to do something different with him at a different time of day. He’s adaptable and he can do different things in different ways,” he told Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby.

It comes after fans of Piers created a petition, demanding he returns to GMB.

Nearly 200,000 signatures were placed online after the show lost 80,000 viewers.

I won’t be going back, but thanks to everyone who has signed these petitions. Normally, people start petitions to have me fired or deported, so this is a pleasant surprise,” Piers said on the matter.

Since Piers’ exit from GMB, Ben Shephard stepped in to replace the presenter, which left viewers divided.

Ben who is usually seen on Thursday and Friday mornings was called in to host alongside Susanna Reid.

ITV viewers had a mixed response with some enjoying the calmer start to the week while others suggesting the Tipping Point host lacked oomph.

The broadcaster is yet to announce a permanent replacement who will join Susanna.

Piers Morgan’s Life Stories airs on Thursday at 9pm on ITV.
