The Power franchise just grew even bigger with the release of its third spin-off, Power Book IV: Force, which will focus on Tommy Egan (played by Joseph Sikora) who moved to Chicago from New York. In the most recent episode, Liliana (Audrey Esparza) made an unexpected appearance and fans believe her true identity could soon be revealed after highlighting a major clue.

In the second episode titled ‘King of the Goddamn Hill’ Tommy unexpectedly bumped into a familiar face from the original series of Power.

Liliana used to work for Tommy and James ‘Ghost’ St Patrick (Omar Hardwick) as a runner, however, her appearances were brief as she only featured in three episodes.

Despite this, she made a huge mark on the show as her presence highlighted Kanan Stark’s (50 Cent) eventual release from prison.

Fans will remember when Liliana was attacked by Pink Sneakers who was hired by Kanan which left her with a sizable scar on her cheek.

Although Tommy and Ghost were last seen debating on whether or not to kill her, her existence was only confirmed by her unexpected appearance.

Her comeback was not only a huge shock for viewers but it also took Tommy by surprise as she pounced on him with an attack.

After they fought, it was soon revealed she had escaped New York after finding out Tommy wanted her dead and she thought he had arrived to finish her off.

Although she had started a new life, by the end of the episode it soon became clear she hadn’t left the drug business, after Tommy discovered a brick of the substances hidden under her floorboards.

There could also be a chance she had stolen the card back when she was in New York and kept it ever since.

Nonetheless, her appearance and the spider card was a major throwback for fans and a huge reminder of just how connected the Power worlds remain.

Either way, it looked as though Tommy could consider working with her this season, as he could be looking for a quick way to make money and what better way than to turn to what he knows best, drug distribution.

After he spent the day dropping drugs off for the cartel who held Jenard (Kris Lofton) hostage, while the city was roaming with police, it was clear Tommy still had a knack for it.

However, Tommy will very likely face major backlash for attempting to start a drug business in Chicago.

He had already been threatened by the notorious Flynn family who believed they own the city with their drug organisation.

After being asked to leave Chicago by the patriarch kingpin Walter Flynn (Tommy Flanagan), Tommy took the threat as a challenge and decided to buy an apartment.

Fans will have to stay tuned to see how the Flynn family will retaliate if Tommy does start his own cartel and if Lilianna could have connections with the Jimenez cartel.

Power Book IV: Force is available to stream every Sunday on Starz.
