PS5 Black Friday stock drop CONFIRMED: The UK retailers planning a Black Friday restock

UPDATE 3: A Gamebyte spokesperson has confirmed that PS5 stock will be available during the company’s Facebook live event.

The Facebook live event starts at 5pm later today, so tune in if you want a PS5.

“The stock will be dropped during our Facebook live shopping event which starts at 5pm this evening,” a spokesperson told Daily Express.

Customers hoping to pick up a PS5 are being urged to sign up for the Gamebyte mailing list and tune in to a Facebook live broadcast on November 26.

UPDATE: Argos has told Daily Express that it currently has no plans to restock the PS5 on Black Friday.

While the retailer could pull a surprise stock drop on the day, it’s not looking good for UK customers hoping to get their hands on a PS5 this Black Friday.

ORIGINAL: November has been a solid month for PlayStation 5 restocks, as retailers attempt to hit their holiday sales targets.

During the past few weeks, PS5 stock drops have taken place at GAME, Argos, ShopTo, EE, Currys and Amazon.

However, with Christmas creeping ever closer, customers will be hoping for another PS5 stock drop this week, perhaps even on Black Friday.

Express Online has contacted GAME, Amazon, and Argos to find out whether any Black Friday stock drops are planned in the UK, so keep checking back for updates.

Customers should also keep an eye on the PlayStation Direct website, which has already restocked the device three times during the past week alone.

Unfortunately, however, even if the PS5 is restocked, customers can almost certainly rule out any Black Friday discounts.

While plenty of PS5 games have dropped in price over the past few days, the scarcity of the console means it’s unlikely to get a reduction.

Still, if you’re looking for some games to accompany your brand new console, look no further than Deathloop, which is currently down to just £29.99 on the PlayStation Store.

Deathloop is easily one of the best PS5 games of the year, earning a massive 88% score on Metacritic.

If you’re unable to get your hands on a PS5 from a traditional retailer, you could always try the Cash Converters website.

At the time of writing, the retailer currently has hundreds of PS5 consoles in stock, both in disc form and digital.

Most of the PS5 consoles are brand new and boxed, although they have been unsealed to check the contents.

The only downside is that the disc-based PS5 consoles cost £649.99, which is a higher price than you’d pay from the likes of GAME, Argos and Amazon.

However, it’s still a lot cheaper than second-hand PlayStation 5 consoles at their peak, which were fetching upwards of £1,000.
