Amazon UK will be restocking PS5 consoles this week, along with several other retailers.
And according to the latest reports, this next PS5 stock update could be a big one, although we don’t know exactly when it will happen.
What we do know is that Amazon UK will be restocking PlayStation 5 console between March 15 and March 19.
Amazon will likely drop its latest update in the coming days and before the end of the week, based on previous stock offerings.
While we don’t know when Amazon UK will be dropping its latest PS5 stock, we do have a rough idea in regards to timing.
Gamers and console hunters will need to be logged in and ready before 8am, as the new stock is expected to go live between 8am, and 10am GMT.
Other stock drops are also expected this week and before the end of the month, although we don’t know all of them.
The only other retailer we currently know about is Smyths, which is expected to restock near the end of the week.
But like previous weeks, there is bound to be plenty of other retailers added to the list.
A message from PS5 Instant, a reliable stock tracker account, adds: “No stock drops this weekend so relax. We’re expecting Amazon next week.
“Amazon drop will occur 8am to 9am early this week. Smyths will follow in the latter half of the week (8-11am). Most retailers receiving new stock between 22nd-28th.”
Amazon has already provided several stock drops in March for both PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles.
But they remain hard to get, with scalpers causing issues and supply constraints expected to continue into Summer 2021.
In the meantime, anybody still hoping to secure a PS5 should bookmark the Stock Informer website, and follow social media channels such as Digital Foundry Deals.
Some retailers allow customers to register their interest in the PS5, which should result in alerts when the consoles become available.
Another retailer that has confirmed it will be offering new stock this week is GameByte, although it will be using a lottery system.
The company website confirms that the Standard and Digital PS5 consoles will be back in stock next week, but they will only be available in limited supply.
GameByte is letting people sign up to their site via an email address to show interest in buying a console
But it should be noted that only gamers based in the UK will be able to sign up, and stock will be limited to one-per-person.
A message from GameByte adds: “We know it’s been a while since we had a PS5 update. So, we’ll get straight to it.
“We’ll have a limited number of bundles for both disc and digital versions of the PS5 available very soon! These will be available to the community exclusively through email.”
