Six of daytime television’s finest soap stars will partake in the 2023 “Soaps in the South” event in Georgia, which will benefit the Camp Dream charity. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

This event will take place on June 24 and 25 in Alpharetta and Cumming, Georgia. It will feature such actors as Kate Linder (Esther Valentine on “The Young and The Restless”), Jordi Vilasuso (Rey Rosales on “The Young and The Restless”), Kathleen Gati (Liesl Obrecht on “General Hospital”), Johnny Wactor (ex-Brando Corbin on “General Hospital),” as well as Bryan Datillo (Lucas Horton on “Days of Our Lives”) and Patrika Darbo (Nancy Wesley on “Days of Our Lives”).

These actors will participate in up-close and personal experiences, and many auction and raffle items will be available.

Camp Dream provides an experience, not found elsewhere, that enriches the lives of children and young adults with moderate to severe physical and developmental disabilities now, tomorrow, and for the rest of their lives.

Camp Dream is a recreational, traditional summer camp experience for children and young adults with moderate to severe physical and developmental disabilities. Camp Dream is fully volunteer, offering a one-to-one camper-counselor ratio. It is a barrier free environment that has never turned away a camper due to the severity of their disability or their financial capability.
