Grammy award-winning songwriter and record producer Jonas Myrin has paid a special tribute to Nicole Scherzinger on behalf of her 2025 Tony nomination for “Sunset Blvd.” #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.
In a gracious post on social media, Myrin expressed, “Today, one of my best friends got nominated for a Tony Award — and my heart is leaping.”
“Nicole, I’ve see you fight for your art with every ounce of your being. When you’ve been deathly sick and everyone tell you to cancel the show, you pray, and somehow find the strength to go on and deliver a performance that leaves the audience breathless.”
“You were born for this and you’ve given Norma new ways to dream. Congratulations to the beautiful ‘Sunset Blvd.’ musical cast,” Myrin said. “Especially lads Jamie Lloyd and Tom Francis, you are the best of the best!”
“Also, cheers to big bro Thom Evans, you’ve been a rock through this journey. There’s no one like you,” Myrin exclaimed.
“Nicole, my friend… This is just the beginning. The world has just seen a glimpse of your light,” he acknowledged.
Nicole Scherzinger is up for the Tony Award for “Best Actress in a Musical” for playing Norma Desmond in “Sunset Blvd.” and the show itself scored a total of seven Tony nominations.
