A Huntington landmark will be closing its doors today. Neraki Greek Mediterranean Grill on Long Island will be serving its final meals today (on Sunday, September 14th).
It has been voted as the Best Greek, Best Seafood and Best Mediterranean Restaurant on Long Island on multiple occasions, and rightfully so.
In an official post on Instagram, the beloved Greek and seafood eatery posted, “To our loyal patrons, friends and extended family, after 14+ wonderful years serving the Huntington community, we are saddened to announce that Neraki will be serving its last meal on September 14th. We are truly grateful for your many years of support, and the many memories we’ve shared. We would love to see you to say ‘thank you’ in person and to say ‘goodbye.’ From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. With love and gratitude, The Moschos family and team at Neraki.”
As they say in Greek, “Oso ki’an psaxo den vrisko allo Neraki,” which translates into “no matter how hard I may look, I will never find another Neraki.”

It has been the utmost pleasure and privilege to be able to dine, review and interview at this exquisite restaurant over the past 14 years. They deserved each “Best of Long Island” win and every other accolade they ever won, and then some! It had the most authentic fresh Greek, Mediterranean and seafood anyone will ever find on Long Island.
Wishing Alex, Olga and the Moschos family, and the Neraki team, the best in their future endeavors! They are the absolute best and they will be missed dearly.
