On Sunday, October 5th, Scott Reeves, Matt Reeves, and Carson Boatman performed at a Star Image Entertainment “Days of Our Lives” fan event in Nashville, Tennessee. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the recap.
Boatman opened his set with a soaring rendition of “Wild Thing,” and it was followed by Scott and Matt Reeves performing “She’s Gone.” Boatman continued with a song that he wrote a couple of days ago “I Can’t Let You In.”

Boatman sang a poignant tune that he dedicated to his daughter Ava, which is tentatively called “Ava’s Song (The Circle),” which is melodically reminiscent of the country classic “Help Me Make It Through the Night” by Sammi Smith (written by Kris Kristofferson). This new song was filled with raw emotions.
Scott and Matt had some fun with the lighthearted and nonchalant “Life is Better in Flip Flops,” which had a liberating vibe to it. They also rang a catchy cover of Bon Jovi’s “Livin’ on a Prayer” and they also serenaded the audience to John Denver’s nostalgic “Take Me Home, Country Roads.”

Matt stole the show with a killer performance of Jerry Reed’s “Amos Moses” while displaying his prowess on the guitar. They closed with the southern rock group The Georgia Satellites’ “Keep Your Hands to Yourself,” which was sheer bliss.
The Verdict
Overall, Scott Reeves, Matt Reeves, and Carson Boatman were able to put on a warm and pleasant acoustic set that was well-received by all. It garnered two thumbs up. Each of these artists is worth seeing in a live musical setting. Well done.
