Alltech is bringing two powerful documentaries — its acclaimed feature World Without Cows and a Brazil-focused companion film World Without Cows Brazil: The Battle for Balance — to Belém, Brazil, during the COP30 climate summit.
World Without Cows will take center stage on Day 1 of the COP30 Farmers Summit, hosted by the World Farmers’ Organisation. The award-winning documentary explores the economic, social, nutritional and environmental significance of cows, told through the voices of farmers, ranchers, scientists and other experts who are shaping the future of sustainable food production.
Additionally, Alltech will host six exclusive screenings of a 60-minute preview of World Without Cows along with its 20-minute companion film, World Without Cows Brazil: The Battle for Balance. The events will feature discussions with agriculture and sustainability experts and others.
WHY IT MATTERS: Created specifically for COP30, World Without Cows Brazil places Brazil at the forefront of the climate conversation, highlighting the country’s leadership in regenerative cattle management and its extraordinary potential to double food production without deforestation.
Restoring 40 million hectares of degraded pasture could enable Brazil to double its food production, feeding millions more people while protecting the Amazon. With COP30 taking place in Brazil — the first U.N. climate summit in years to place agriculture, food and land use at the forefront — Alltech’s screenings introduce fresh perspectives on how innovation, science and stewardship are transforming cattle production into a driver of regeneration.
