Actor Matt Dallas (“Kyle XY”) and “Sheepdog: The Collection” have partnered with VetTix to help veterans and their families see the movie “Sheepdog” in theaters. The movie will officially be released in theaters on January 16th.

The film was written and directed by Steven Grayhm, who also stars as protagonist Calvin Cole opposite Matt Dallas, who plays his friend Darryl Sparks.

Team House Studios, the studio behind “Sheepdog,” has partnered with VetTix on a Pay it Forward campaign. “We’re partnering with @VetTix, a veteran-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit, to provide @Fandango-donated tickets so veterans and their families can see SHEEPDOG in theaters,” Dallas posted on social media.

In a subsequent Instagram post, Dallas remarked, “Sometimes we have to fall apart to find ourselves all over again. That line comes from Sheepdog, and it’s one that’s stayed with me.”

“Right now, proceeds from all ‘Sheepdog’ merch purchased through our FanStore help provide free movie tickets for veterans and their families to see the film in theaters this January. We’re doing that through our partnership with Vet Tix, who work with Fandango to get donated tickets directly into veterans’ hands,” Dallas elaborated.

“This isn’t about merch,” Dallas noted. “It’s about showing up. And saying—clearly—our veterans matter.”
