Paul Wilson, known for his role in “The Conjuring,” has joined the cast of the psychological thriller “Method,” the upcoming feature written and directed by Ashton Arbab. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

The film is being produced by Arbab Entertainment and Pixium Film Group.

Wilson joins an ensemble cast that includes Ashton Arbab (Princess), Grace Kaufman (The Sky Is Everywhere), Rhyan Hill (Michael) Sabrina Quesada (The Sex Lives Of College Girls), Seth Lee (1883), Armen Nahapetian (Beau Is Afraid), Emily Dobson (Who did it), Karis Peterson (The Bird Of Paradise), Kamden Riley (The Odyssey) and Ben O’Loughlin (Roomies) and Savannah Demers (Iris).

“We are thrilled to add Paul to our cast of talented actors from various backgrounds to bring this thriller to life,” said Ari Novak, lead producer. “Paul has been a long-time collaborator, and we couldn’t be more excited to see him bring this role to the screen.”

“Method” follows twelve aspiring actors invited to what they believe is the final callback for a prestigious Broadway production. As the audition descends into a twisted psychological experiment, the performers are pushed to their physical and emotional limits, forcing them to confront the true cost of ambition.

Written and directed by Ashton Arbab, “Method” is produced by Arbab and Ari Novak (“Solo Mio”), Chris Ochs (“The Butler”), Tori Borbash (“Princess”) serve as executive producers.

Savannah Porter (“One Day”), Taylor Smith and Connor Martfeld (“Princess”) are also producing. The psychological thriller is a co-production between Arbab Entertainment Group and Pixium Film Group and is slated to begin production later this year in Los Angeles.

Additional casting announcements are expected in the coming weeks.
