Emmy-nominated actor and musician Max Ehrich (“The Young and the Restless” and “High School Musical 3”) chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about his new music project.
For Ehrich, music has always been more than entertainment—it has been a vehicle for connection, healing, and hope. With a new musical project on the horizon, the singer and actor is ushering in a fresh creative era that reflects both personal growth and artistic evolution.
“This project represents a new chapter for me, both creatively and personally,” he said. “I wanted to make music that feels alive. Music that people can dance to, drive to, celebrate with, and hopefully find pieces of themselves in.”
The upcoming release blends an eclectic mix of pop, dance, house, reggaeton, and R&B influences while remaining anchored in an uplifting message. Although the production is energetic and contemporary, Ehrich emphasized that the heart of the project lies in themes of hope, faith, healing, and second chances.
“There are songs that celebrate life and others that reflect my faith and the belief that no matter where you’ve been, there’s always an opportunity for renewal, healing, and a fresh start,” Ehrich explained. “My hope is that people leave this project feeling lighter, more joyful, and reminded that every day is a chance to begin again.”
When discussing the inspiration behind the songwriting, Ehrich pointed to life’s everyday experiences as the greatest creative influence.
“Life does,” Ehrich exclaimed. “The people I meet, relationships, faith, travel, and the lessons that come from both the beautiful and difficult moments.”
Faith remains a central pillar throughout both the music and the creative process. “I believe God can meet us in every season of life, and music has always been one of the ways I’ve experienced hope, healing, and connection,” Ehrich noted. “If my music can make people feel seen, heard, inspired, and uplifted, and help them through every chapter of life, then that’s my intention.”
Whether listeners are looking for an anthem to celebrate life’s victories or a song to help them navigate more difficult seasons, Ehrich hopes the music resonates on a deeply personal level.
“Whether someone needs a song to celebrate, to reflect, or to remind them that they’re never too far gone to begin again, I hope they can find that here,” Ehrich said.

“It’s been an incredible privilege,” Ehrich said. “I’ve learned that great producers aren’t just technically gifted. They know how to bring honesty out of an artist.”
More importantly, the collaborations were built upon a shared vision that extended beyond crafting commercially appealing songs.
“I’m grateful to be working alongside Grammy-winning producers who not only strive for excellence but also care deeply about making music that genuinely connects with people,” Ehrich explained. “We shared a desire to create songs that bring joy, inspire hope, and leave people feeling better than they did before they pressed play.”
Looking ahead, Ehrich has no intention of slowing down. Future plans include continuing to build a career across both music and acting while developing meaningful projects centered on themes of hope, redemption, resilience, faith, and the shared human experience.
“I’m excited to continue growing as both an actor and a musician,” Ehrich said. “I’ve always believed stories have the power to bring people together and remind us of what matters most.
