Super Punchy Studios’ original vertical drama, “Step By Step,” directed by Salvador Paskowitz, will star Nicole Mattox, Seth Edeen, Molly Anderson and Haley Lohrli. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.
“Step by Step” was written by Halo Gracey and Kristin Paskowitz, and it will be available on TikTok beginning in September of 2026. The series will expand from Super Punchy’s proprietary app to TikTok, giving audiences another way to discover the vertical drama.
Step By Step premiered exclusively on the Super Punchy app in late May 2026. Its availability on TikTok represents the next stage in Super Punchy’s distribution strategy and demonstrates the potential for independently produced premium vertical entertainment to move across direct-to-consumer, social and other distribution platforms.
Screenwriter and director Salvador Paskowitz, writer of The Age of Adaline, and business partner Timothy “Timo” Nelligan founded Super Punchy Studios in January 2026 with an original IP pipeline and a focus on premium, mobile-first entertainment. Paskowitz made his vertical directing debut with Step By Step, which Super Punchy independently produced and initially distributed exclusively through its own app.
“From the beginning, our plan was to launch Step By Step exclusively on the Super Punchy app and then expand to additional platforms that could introduce the series to a much larger audience,” said Nelligan, co-founder of Super Punchy Studios. “We believe premium vertical storytelling can thrive across multiple distribution models and bringing Step By Step to TikTok is an exciting next step in that strategy, allowing us to take what we’ve built beyond the walls of our own app and introduce the series to audiences around the world.”
