Ashton Arbab’s “Method” rounds out cast with Evelyn Kim and Sean Robert Smith. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

Independent psychological thriller “Method” has completed its principal ensemble with the addition of Evelyn Kim (The Fifth Wheel) and Sean Robert Smith (Let’s Grow).

Kim has been cast as Izzy, while Smith will portray Jeffery, rounding out the cast ahead of the film’s planned Los Angeles production.

Written, directed by, and starring Ashton Arbab, “Method” follows twelve aspiring actors who arrive for what they believe is the callback of a lifetime. As the audition unfolds, they discover they have become participants in a manipulative psychological experiment where ambition, identity, and survival become inseparable.

Kim and Smith join a cast that includes Paul Wilson, Grace Kaufman, Rhyan Hill, Seth Lee, Sabrina Quesada, Emily Dobson, Armen Nahapetian, Karis Peterson, Kamden Riley, Savannah Demers and Ben O’Loughlin.

Produced by Arbab Entertainment Group Inc. and Ari Novak’s Pixium Film Group, “Method” is currently in pre-production ahead of principal photography in Los Angeles.

“’Method’ has always been an ensemble-driven story,” said Arbab. “Every character has a purpose, and finding actors who could bring authenticity and emotional depth to each role was incredibly important. Evelyn and Sean were the final pieces that completed the vision for this cast, and I couldn’t be more excited to have them on board.”

With the principal ensemble now in place, the filmmakers are preparing for the next phase of production as the project moves toward cameras rolling later this year.

“Method” marks Arbab’s feature writing and directing debut while also starring in the film. Blending psychological suspense with the competitive world of acting, the story explores the cost of ambition, the pursuit of success, and the identities performers are willing to sacrifice in pursuit of their dreams.
