Craig Geoghan chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about starring in “Finding Mr. Christmas” Season 2 on Hallmark.
Geoghan hails from Lake Ronkonkoma (Long Island), New York, and he is both a personal trainer and an actor. He is thrilled to be competing in “Finding Mr. Christmas” Season 2, where he is afforded the chance to work with host and judge Jonathan Bennett, as well as judge Melissa Peterman.
He opened up about how growing up on Long Island shaped him into the person he is today. “I knew and I grew up with a lot of character on Long Island,” Geoghan said. “You know what I’m talking about… hey!”
“There is a pizzeria on every corner and a bagel shop everywhere you look. It’s delicious… bagels and pizza. That’s what we are known for,” he exclaimed. “Also, we are known for the Hamptons and the beaches, which are pretty cool.”
“There were a lot of characters growing up on Long Island, so I was actually able to channel a lot of my friends and their parents to my advantage in some of the ‘Finding Mr. Christmas’ challenges, and I think it worked. It was awesome and pretty cool,” he elaborated.
On the lessons learned from the show “Finding Mr. Christmas,” Geoghan reflected, “I learned a lot… I learned that being yourself is enough in this industry and in life. I tend to forget that, so this was a really good reminder that if you bring your truth and your whole self, then that will be enough.”
