Ian Somerhalder shares his insights on the new documentary film “Common Ground,” which was directed by award-winning filmmakers Josh and Rebecca Tickell. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the recap.

“As a father, and as a practical activist for our planet, I am excited to announce our new film, a film I was very fortunate to executive produce alongside Josh and Rebecca Tickell, the amazing directors of ‘Kiss the Ground’… the people that brought ‘Kiss the Ground’ to the world. If you have not seen ‘Kiss the Ground,’ please see it on Netflix,” Somerhalder said.

Somerhalder continued, “Our new film is called ‘Common Ground,’ and it just won a huge award at Tribeca Film Festival, and we are so grateful to Tribeca. I’m going to be dropping some unique content from the film, but I also want to ask you to please share this. Follow us, Common Ground Film on Instagram. It doesn’t take very much, just a little click to follow.”

“Get ready to help me save the planet, literally, and I don’t mean this in a joking manner. It is happening right now. We will build the single largest carbon food economy in the world from the Carolina Coast to the California Coast. It is already happening, and it is amazing,” he said.

“I thank you from the bottom of my heart, please follow Common Ground Film. This is going to blow your mind,” Somerhalder said, effusively. “This is the greatest thing that could be happening.”
