James Franco, Ron Perlman, and Natalie Burn to star in new action thriller “Foster.” #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

In a post on social media, Burn remarked, “Excited to finally announce our new movie, action thriller “FOSTER”. I’m so grateful and honored I got to work with incredibly talented James Franco and a wonderful Ron Perlman.”

It was directed by Emmy winner Timothy Woodward Jr. of “Studio City” from a screenplay by Cory Todd Hughes and Adrian Speckert; moreover, it was produced by Born To Burn Films.

“Thank you to our whole team. This was a hard shoot but still super fun, and it wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing cast and phenomenal crew,” she exclaimed.

The synopsis of the film is: Haunted by his past and clawing his way through sobriety, Donald “Don” Foster (James Franco) just wants some peace. When a troubled addict (Natalie Burn) leaves her young son on his doorstep, Don is dragged back into the violent underworld he thought he left behind.

Hunted by the ruthless crime boss that Don worked for and learned all the boss’s sinister secrets — Perlman plays him — Don has a reason to seek redemption.

This indie thriller just added six to its cast: Dash Mihok, Randy J. Goodwin, Rhys Coiro, Alexis Knapp, James Frain, and Jeremy Luke. Production for this movie started in August.
