Kintsugi Omakase is Soho’s premier destination for authentic Japanese cuisine. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

It is the quintessential place to dine for Mother’s Day in Manhattan. For those looking for a place to spoil mom and not break the piggy bank, Kintsugi Omakase, an understated, fashionable sushi atelier that is tucked away in Soho, is quite the destination.

The small jewel box sushi counter seats 10 and will be offering its Lunch Rush Omakase, a 12-course one-hour experience for $60 served from 12 to 3 p.m. as well as three tiers of omakase for dinner, which include seasonal appetizers and sushi:

10-course Grand Experience for $95

13-course Soho Experience for $155

16-course Kintsugi Experience for $195

Executive Chef Victor Chen is featuring spring additions to his omakase, which are Hotaru Ika (firefly squid), Sekogani (female snow crab), Buri (yellowtail) and Samegarei (flounder).

Additionally, The Kintsugi Uni Tasting is the perfect addition to any of the three premium experiences utilizing a weekly auction-grade Top-10 ranking uni directly auctioned and airfreight from Toyosu Market in Japan.
