Lauralee Bell, the Emmy award-winning creator, actress, producer, and director, has portrayed Christine “Cricket” Blair Romalotti for over 42 years on The Young and the Restless, the No. 1 rated daytime drama for decades. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the recap.
Bell just dropped her latest video celebrating the 53rd anniversary of The Young and the Restless on her Instagram @lauralee_bell and of course she included lots of her castmates. Bell wanted to thank the show’s fans for keeping the show #1. Bell once again serves as producer/writer/director and she filmed it too.
Bell chose We Can’t Stop by Miley Cyrus as the soundtrack. Bell stated: Y&R’s cast and crew can’t stop and we won’t stop thanking you for getting us to our 53rd Anniversary! It’s so exciting to be #1 and going strong, thanks to you! #thereisnouswithoutyou
In addition to Bell, her video includes her castmates: Lucas Adams (Noah Newman), Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott), Eric Braeden (Victor Newman), Tamara Braun (Sienna Bacall), Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren Fenmore Baldwin), Sharon Case (Sharon Newman), Michael Damian (Danny Romalotti), Sean Dominic (Nate Hastings), Melissa Clare Egan (Chelsea Newman), Billy Flynn (Cane Ashby), Vivica Fox (Stephanie Simmons), Michael Graziadei (Daniel Romalotti Jr.), Mark Grossman (Adam Newman), Stacy Haiduk (Patty Williams), Christal Khalil (Lily Winters), Christian Le Blanc (Michael Baldwin), Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman), Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki Newman), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers).
Bell and Michael Damian’s characters of Cricket and Danny finally got remarried last November after fans waited over 30 years for that long-awaited reunion.
Bell is the creator of multiple digital series. Bell first began taking fans of The Young and the Restless behind-the-scenes to thank them for 50 years of loyalty to the show that her late parents, William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, created. Bell has also starred in several Lifetime movies through the years.
