Singer-songwriter and actor Max Ehrich chatted with #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos about his new single “LAX.”
On his new single, Ehrich remarked, “This song is about that instant vibe when you meet someone, and everything just clicks — like you’re ready to take off together, no questions asked. ‘Meet me at LAX’ is an invitation to that kind of connection: fast, intense, and unforgettable. It’s about living in the moment, taking risks, and enjoying the ride with someone who’s on your wavelength.”
On the origin of the song, he revealed, “I made LAX with my talented friends that I worked on my record ‘Backroads’ with. We were in the studio and my friend Greg Edwards who just did the intro beat for Drake’s ‘Gimme A Hug’ song played me something and it instantly inspired me to write a fun, feel good summer record. I co-wrote with him, Jared Freedman and Toft Willingham.”
Regarding his future plans, he shared, “I’ve been making videos with talented friends of mine dancing and catching a fun moment in time vibing out to the record.”
For his fans and supporters, he expressed about his “LAX” single, “I hope people have just as much fun listening to it as I did making it. It’s really for the people and lifting their spirits. I hope it makes them dance, go to the beach, and sing it with the windows open.”
