Soap vet James Hyde (“Passions” fame) is Emmy-worthy for his acting work on “The Young and The Restless.” #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

Hyde has been wreaking havoc in Genoa City as Jeremy Stark, and he has been killing it ever since he stepped foot in the Y&R canvas. He plays a complex character in a controlled yet refreshing manner that audiences love to hate, but at the same time, Hyde is able to find the humanity in him.

Last year, Hyde has had many memorable scenes opposite such luminous acting partners as Peter Bergman, Susan Walters, Conner Floyd, and Michelle Stafford. He deserves to be nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for “Outstanding Guest Performer in a Drama Series.”

For well over three decades, “The Young and The Restless” is the No. 1 daytime drama on television. The show just celebrated its 50th anniversary.

Hopefully, James Hyde will finally get his due after all the tremendous work he has been doing on the CBS daytime drama “The Young and The Restless.”
