Actors Shayne Davis and Mariah Moss star in the aTwist vertical drama “I Swiped Right on a Serial Killer.” #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the recap.
Nick Fabiano directed this vertical drama from a rich script by Crystal Martinez, which was filled with character development.
The synopsis is: When Harper (Mariah Moss) is dumped by her long-time boyfriend Dave, her best friend Liv (Addison Bowman) signs her up on a dating app. She starts dating Trent (Shayne Davis) who proves that there is more to him than what meets the eye.
It is neat to see such fan-favorite vertical actors as Kirby Ellwood, Nick Ritacco (who is a victim of tragedy as Dave), Meg Bush, Adam Daniel, Ali Badalov, Steven Morana, Seth Edeen (sporting a moustache) making a cameo in this vivacious new series.
Mariah Moss dazzles as Harper, and it is neat to watch her opposite a lovely Addison Bowman as Liv.

Shayne Davis is a force of nature who delivers his most compelling acting performance thus far in his career as the anti-hero Trent… he layers his emotions well, and his acting runs the gamut in this complex role. It feels like watching “Dexter” all over again, and Davis is our Michael C. Hall.
Davis’ affecting rapport with Moss allows for more resonance.
Hopefully, this is a harbinger that there will be more high-quality and well-written leading male roles for Shayne Davis in the future. He deserves to be the next big male superstar in the genre.
While it was a slow-burner at times, the multiple twists and turns will keep the audience engaged. It was a surprise ending that viewers and fans will not want to miss. “I Swiped Right on a Serial Killer” earns 4.5 out of 5 stars.
