SHE Media Co-Lab returns to SXSW 2024 with Katie Couric
This year's SHE Media Co-Lab returns to SXSW 2024 from March 11-12 in Austin, Texas.

Returning to SXSW 2024 this year is the SHE Media Co-Lab, which continues the conversation surrounding the “Future of Health” and new science and innovation that taps into the personal stories of its esteemed speakers.

SHE Media, a leading lifestyle media company founded by award-winning journalist Katie Couric, believes that media companies can and should be a force for good in the world, encouraging independent publishers and content creators to get creative. The company’s flagship brands, SheKnows, Flow Space, STYLECASTER, Soaps, and BlogHer, produce award-winning lifestyle content and events that reflect the passion and purpose of the company.

Last year’s SHE Media Co-Lab, produced by Clay Lillard and Mateo Gutierrez of Independent Event Creatives — the team behind Austin’s beloved Mesmerize experience — was a huge success, bringing together an incredible lineup of speakers including Katie Couric, Maria Shriver, Olivia Culpo, Phoebe Robinson and many more.

Lillard and Gutierrez have continued to foster Austin’s arts and entertainment through its live events and immersive art experiences, having produced a multitude of events for industry leading brands, including, but not limited to Netflix, Fender Guitars, SHE Media, The European Union (EU), Twix, Red Bull, and many others.

“We are thrilled to, once again, welcome so many incredible leaders on our stage this year as we continue to prioritize women’s health,” said Samantha Skey, CEO of SHE Media. “By addressing this inspiring and under-represented content at SXSW, we hope to be a catalyst for positive change.”

Having attended last year’s collab, True Hollywood Talk had the opportunity to briefly speak with Couric after she concluded her panel.

“I had so much fun at the SheMedia Co-Lab at SXSW last year–we had some really important, engaging conversations about the future of healthcare,” said Katie Couric. “I’m excited to be going back again this year alongside Medtronic, Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, and CocoaVia. I hope to see you all there!!”
