Kiwami, an Japanese Omakase restaurant, is nestled along the Brooklyn Bridge Park, is offering a post-race dinging experience. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

This post-race dining is offered at Kiwami, a Japanese Omakase restaurant nestled along the Brooklyn Bridge Park waterfront in DUMBO, ahead of the NYCRUNS Brooklyn Experience Half Marathon on Sunday, April 26, 2026.

As thousands of runners take over Brooklyn for race weekend, Kiwami is extending a post-race offering of 15 percent off its 14- or 18-course omakase experience, available from Sunday, April 26 through Friday, May 1, for one-time use.

The experience is further elevated by the restaurant’s newly launched unlimited sake offering at the counter, designed as a celebratory post-race touch for runners, their friends, and families, with sweeping views of the East River and the iconic Manhattan skyline.

Highlights from Kiwami’s signature omakase include Ikura Tartare (spring-roll tartlet with sweet potato purée, salmon roe, saltwater uni, shiso flower), Kanpachi  (smoked amberjack brightened with yuzu and lime zest, yuzu sauce, plum-marinated tomato), and Unagi (barbecued eel finished with foie gras).
