In “The Plastic Men,” written and directed by Samuel Gonzalez Jr., Jonathan Teller (played by a soaring James Preston) has suicidal ideation, however, a chance encounter with a mysterious woman Judy changes everything for him. Preston is able to carry this film on his shoulders as he wrestles his character’s own morality, sanity, and inner demons.
His acting performance was praised in Digital Journal, and rightfully so. “Aaron Dalla Villa delivers an intense yet controlled performance as Abbott, another man who is battling his own inner struggles.”
