Review: Antonio Andrés Rosello soars in ‘Healthcare Hitman’

Antonio Andrés Rosello soars in the vertical drama “Healthcare Hitman: Killing in the Name of Love,” which is available on DramaWave and Soda TV. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the recap.

It was inspired by the Luigi Mangione story, which made headlines back in December of 2024.

Rosello delivers a transformative acting performance that really runs the gamut. He truly becomes Luca, who is a complex, disturbed, and flawed individual and he captures his conscience. It will certainly move audiences on an emotional level because he humanizes him with a lot of heart and conviction. Rosello is not afraid to be raw and vulnerable, and his performance will resonate with viewers.

It feels like watching “Little Children” all over again and Antonio Andrés Rosello is our Jackie Earle Haley (Academy Award nominee), and that ought to be taken as a compliment. Compliments to the writers for giving him such meaty material, which really allows Rosello to sink his teeth into as an actor and contemporary storyteller.

While the subject matter may be intense and heavy at times, it is also engaging and thoroughly entertaining. Grab some popcorn (or a bottle of wine, if one is over the age of 21) and let Rosello lure you in.

Hopefully, this is a harbinger of more high-quality stories to come from Rosello in the future. “Healthcare Hitman: Killing in the Name of Love” is worth more than just a passing glance, and it garners two giant thumbs up. Well done.
