Actor and musician Luke Charles Stafford sat down and chatted with this #Powerjournalist in a hotel in Manhattan’s West Village.
On his latest endeavors, he shared, “I just launched my production company called Dream United, which was an idea that I’ve had for 13 years now. I’ve been making my own movies, my own music videos, and releasing my own songs. So, it was finally the right time to do this production company.”

Regarding the significance of this production company, he remarked, “ Dream United basically represents how we, as human beings, we go further together when we dream together. So, the first film I’m about to release is a musical film based on my song ‘Against the Wall,’ and ironically enough, the movie is going to be called ‘Against the Wall’ and I’ll be playing the lead character.”
He continued, “This character is going through the loss of his grandfather, who was a famous ’80s rockstar, and he has his old house. Our main character is also a musician. His fiancée leaves him, which spurs the song idea for a song called ‘Against the Wall.’ You’ll see my character perform that. Then you will see how he ultimately achieves his dream, and there’s a really cool scene where the grandfather character reappears as a spirit, and sees his grandson step into his time in the sun.”
“So, if you’ve ever felt like you’re running out of time or that you are not going to achieve what it is you feel your calling is, then this film is definitely for you, basically,” he added.
Closing thoughts on the upcoming project
For fans and viewers, he remarked, “I want them to feel inspired and unseen. I want them to understand that their life is valuable and their life is precious.”
“ I want them to also feel inspired by these underdog stories,” he admitted. “The first few films are going to be underdog stories, you know? If you put in the work, you can actually realize what it is that’s on your heart. So, it’s very much like the ‘Rocky’ type of story.”
