On June 1 and 2, daytime actors gathered in Montreal, Canada, for Eric Martsolf’s 10th anniversary with Star Image Entertainment. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the recap.

Aside from Emmy winner Eric Martsolf, the event featured actors Peter Porte, Bryan Dattilo, Kyle Lowder, Dan Feuerriegel and Carson Boatman. They are known for their acting work on the Peacock daytime drama “Days of Our Lives.”

This marked Peter Porte’s first-ever event with Star Image Entertainment. “It feels very good to be here,” Porte said. “It’s an honor to be a part of such an amazing organization, which helps out Cedars CanSupport.”

Saturday, June 1st, was hosted by comedian Neil Janna. It featured a Question and Answer (Q&A) session with the fans, as well as an autograph signing, dinner, photo opportunities, and a dance party. In the Q & A portion, the actors shared some of their behind-the-scenes stories with the fans such as pranks, experiences on the show, as well as some of their most memorable fan experiences.

Eric Martsolf headlined the first concert, where Star Image Entertainment paid a moving tribute to the late but great Johnny Wactor (who passed away tragically on May 25th), and a cake was cut in honor of Martsolf’s 10th anniversary with Star Image Entertainment.

On June 2nd, actor Carson Boatman performed his first-ever acoustic concert, which garnered a rave review.

Boatman noted that “it is exciting to be a new dad” and shared that his concert would consist mainly of “cover songs and perhaps an original.”

When asked about what it was like working with Lucy DeVito in the Hallmark film “A Cinderella Christmas,” Peter Porte said, “It was amazing to work with Lucy. She is very, very funny. She had a line about Beef Wellington, and there is nobody that can sell Beef Wellington like Lucy DeVito.”

“Star Image Entertainment never disappoints with such a fun-filled and eventful weekend,” Michelle Lebowitz, fan and attendee, exclaimed.

Fan and attendee Cathy Doucet remarked, “Being at Penny’s events are like coming together as a family! We all look forward to hugs and smiles! And meeting the actors we watch everyday on TV is such a thrill! They’re so gracious, and so happy to take selfies with all of us! It’s always so exciting! I’ve been going to Penny’s Star Image Entertainment events since 2016, and I wouldn’t miss them for the world! Thank you Penny!”
