Actors Katherine Gibson and Sully Christian star in the vertical drama series “A Lawyer’s Forbidden Love for a Killer” for DramaShorts. #Powerjournalist Markos Papadatos has the scoop.

The synopsis is: Young public defender Cassie Burns (Katherine Gibson) takes on her first major case: defending Lucas Henninger (Sully Christian), a man on death row accused of a brutal murder. As the trial unfolds, Cassie begins to suspect that Lucas may be innocent and that the real killer could be his former business partner.

Facing pressure from the prosecution, corruption, missing evidence, and threats to her career, Cassie risks everything to uncover the truth. While fighting to save Lucas from execution, an unexpected and forbidden romance develops between them, forcing Cassie to choose between professional duty and her feelings.

Katherine Gibson stuns as the voluptuous and intelligent Cassie, while Sully Christian layers his emotions well, and nails Lucas to the tee, showcased both his rugged side in prison, as well as his soft and vulnerable side whenever he is with Cassie.

As a result, the two leads have exceptional chemistry together, and it is neat to watch them tackle their adversaries Emily (played by Emma Reinagel) and Julian Reed (Brian O’Shea) in this riveting vertical drama. Everybody in this cast brings something distinct and memorable to the table.

Conclusion

Overall, this vertical is one of those projects where viewers will want a sequel. Katherine Gibson and Sully Christian do impressive work and they will sustain the audience’s attention for its entire duration. It garners four out of five stars. Well done.
