Actors Sammy Morningstar (Chicago P.D., The Devil’s Dancers), Paul Wilson (The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It), Lynn Lowry (Shivers, The Crazies), Don Overstreet (Guardians of the Galaxy:Vol. 2, Dead Man’s Wire), Caitlin McEachran (The Devil’s Dancers), and August Kyss (Onlyfangs) as series regulars in the upcoming original television series Detective Rose Thorne.
Production is scheduled to begin this October in Savannah, Georgia.
Sammy Morningstar will take on the lead role of Detective Rose Thorne. Based on the hit book series by Jumpmaster Press: The Detective Rose Thorne Series follows a brilliant, but damaged, Savannah detective as she tracks a sadistic serial killer who leaves victims wrapped in custom rose-patterned sheets — a personal message aimed squarely at her.
With her partner nearing retirement and her own family secrets threatening to destroy her, Rose must solve the city’s darkest cases while confronting the barbs of her painful past.
Co-Author R. Kyle Hannah has written the teleplay being produced by Jason Hough of Kord Enterprises Inc.
